USER FAQ

Q1. Are there any User Guides for the various Apps and Services?

A1. Yes. Read the User Guides (with associated weblinks so you can directly download them to your computer). The User Guides augment the “In-App” Tooltips and Helpscreens:

CREATOR APP - USER GUIDE

NOWSTORY PLAYER APP - USER GUIDE

VR-THEATER PLAYER APP - USER GUIDE

I-LIVE-ON-LIFESTORY SERVICE - USER GUIDE

Q2. How do I convert a Word document (.docx/.docm/.doc) file into a Text (.txt) file?

A2. The I-LIVE-ON® System will only accept .txt file type for documents. This is for very pragmatic reasons, to enable all written documents to be rendered in the App – for now and for the future - refer Q6. Therefore, this requires Users to initially convert their .docx/.docm/.doc Word files and save them as .txt text file. Diagram below details how to perform this conversion (refer CREATOR App - User Guide):

Q3. How to change the order of my Tiles in a Category?

Q5. How to I setup my Cloud Share Drive Access?

A5. Diagram below provides details on how to setup your personal Cloud Share Drive so that it can interact with the Creator App (refer CREATOR App - User Guide):

Q6. Why won’t my file display in a Multi-Media Production?

A6. The I-LIVE-ON® System, and specifically the I-LIVE-ON Creator App, will allow you to store any computer file in your Multi-Media Production ILO File Package.

However, if your file fits into the non-standard "Generic" classification format (refer I-LIVE-ON Creator App), then it can be accepted into the ILO File package using the Generic file classification, and will be available to be downloaded on the Internet through the I-LIVE-ON-LifeStory Service. However it will not be be directly "viewed" in the Multi-media Slideshow Production. As an example, the proprietary format, such as Microsoft docx (refer Q2) is one such "generic" format, as are pdf's and gedcom's etc.

It is recommended that you add files using the I-LIVE-ON Creator App supported classification media formats, which are the most popular ones in use today. If you have a media file that is not supported - then there are many ways to convert it into a format supported by the Player Apps.
